On Monday, June 16th, the Manhattan Resident Managers Club held their 13th annual, “Sunset Barbeque on the Hudson” at the Frying Pan, located at Pier 66 in Chelsea. The event which took place from 6-9pm was filled with loads of food and drinks and an opportunity to mingle with some of the most prominent people within the resident management industry.
The fundraiser was held in order to raise money for scholarships of which five were awarded that night; each of them $2,000. Former Appliance Doctor “Resident Manager of the Month,” Ben Flores won the 50/50 raffle and selflessly gave half of his earnings back to the Manhattan Resident’s club.
It was a beautiful spring night overlooking the Hudson River and I am glad that I was able to partake in it. It is always a pleasure being surrounded by such gracious people all coming together for a good cause. A special thank you to the Manhattan Resident Managers Club for their endless contributions and dedication to making these events possible!
